Referring to NISCSS’s 22 years of development, President Wu Shicun put forward some consturctive suggestions such as "Where there is action, there is position", "Seize the opportunities to develop", "Core team promotes development" on co-building of national high-end think tanks. He also mentioned that there is still a big gap between China and western developed countries, and the development of Chinese think tanks have obvious deficiencies, such as weak international influence, lack of vitality of institutional mechanisms, disjunction between the research of think tank and the demand of the government, etc. In response to these problems, we must strengthen the theoretical system of think tanks, develop related laws and regulations, improve the information exchange channels between think tanks and governments, and formulate assessment methods that are coordinated with the development of think tanks.
