基本情况

章成，1988年3月生，江西南昌人。武汉大学法学博士、公共管理学博士后。2015年6月在武汉大学法学院获法学博士学位后留校。2015年9月至2016年9月在中华人民共和国外交部边界与海洋事务司借调任职一年，2020年起任武汉大学中国边界与海洋研究院副教授、硕士生导师，国家领土主权与海洋权益协同创新中心（武大总部）研究员，同时兼任湖北省国际法研究会理事、中国教育部学位中心硕博士论文通讯评议专家、中国社会科学院评价院期刊评价专家、中国海洋发展研究中心研究员等职。

章成老师多年来一直致力于极地法律与政策、海洋法、大国法律外交、国际公法与全球治理方面的学术研究，先后主持国家社科基金青年项目1项、教育部高校国别和区域研究年度课题1项、国家社科基金重大项目子课题2项，主持各类省部级以上课题20余项，参与各类国家级与省部级课题30余项，出版专著1部，参著3部，在《中国软科学》《法学家》《当代世界与社会主义》《人大复印资料·国际法学/中国外交》《南京社会科学》《上海交通大学学报（哲学社会科学版）》《国际展望》等高水平权威奖励期刊、重要期刊及CSSCI核心期刊上发表论文50余篇。另有数十篇研究报告、咨询报告、内刊文章获国家部委、湖北省委等党政单位批示采纳，在《人民日报》上发表专论文章3篇，并获外交部边海司和新华社广东分社感谢信各一份，相关研究成果多次获省部级以上优秀社科成果奖项。此外，章成老师还是十余家国内高水平权威奖励期刊、重要期刊、CSSCI核心期刊的匿名评审专家和复审会评专家，并担任本单位专业期刊《边界与海洋研究》审稿专家和学术责任编辑。

研究方向

极地法律与政策、国际海洋法、大国法律外交、国际公法与全球治理、国际法与国际关系基础理论、边疆治理与国家安全研究。

Bio:

ZHANG Cheng, Doctor of International Law, Postdoctorate of Public Administration, male, was born in March 1988, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, China. He graduated from the Law School of Wuhan University in June 2015, received a doctorate degree in law. He is currently an associate professor and master's  supervisor of public international law and international politics at Wuhan University, China Institute of Boundary and Ocean Studies(CIBOS), Institute for International Studies(IIS), and the Collaborative Innovation Center for Territorial Sovereignty and Maritime Rights (CICTSMR). He has been published more than 50 articles in the high-level authoritative award, important, CSSCI and Chinese core journals, and presided over a number of research projects, participated in a number of monographs.

Over the years, Mr. Zhang Cheng has been committed to academic research on polar law and policy, the law of the sea, legal diplomacy of large countries, public international law and global governance, and social governance of frontier ethnic groups. In addition, Mr. Zhang Cheng is also an anonymous reviewer of more than ten domestic high-level authoritative journals, important journals and CSSCI core journals. He also serves as a reviewer and academic responsible editor of the professional journal Boundary and Ocean Studies in the CIBOS.

Polar Law and Politics, International Law of the Sea, Legal Diplomacy, Public International Law and Global Governance, Fundamental Theories of International Law and International Relations, Frontier Region Governance and National Security.

Working Experience:

From July 2015 to the present, Mr. Zhang Cheng has worked at Wuhan University China Institute of Boundary and Ocean Studies, served successively as the Lecturer(2015-2017), Distinguished Associate Researcher(2018-2019) and Associate Professor(2020-). He worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China from 2015-2016. He also visited in School of law, University of Hamburg, Germany and the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea（ITLOS）in 2017.
