据消息人士透露，印度于3月27日收到巴基斯坦方面来信，称同意推迟印巴印度河常委会年度会议。根据印巴两国签署的《印度河水域条约》(Indus Waters Treaty)，印巴两国的印度河水域事务专员应在每年3月31日前举行会议。为控制疫情蔓延速度，印度已实施为期21天的全国封锁禁令，故而此次印度河常委会年度会议无法按期举行。
